Rahul Gandhi plans to visit Hathras to meet with victims of a tragic stampede that occurred on July 2, resulting in the deaths of 121 people and injuries to many others. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal confirmed Gandhi’s intention to visit the site and speak with those affected by the incident.
Meanwhile, Narayan Sakar Vishwa Hari, also known as ‘Bhole Baba,’ gained notoriety for claiming to possess healing powers, including the ability to revive the dead. In 2000, he was arrested after he forcibly took the body of a 16-year-old girl, asserting he could bring her back to life using his supposed superpowers.
Bhole Baba identifies himself as a self-proclaimed religious leader known for his mystical abilities. His followers believe in his capacity to expel “evil spirits” and alleviate people’s suffering.
The Hathras stampede incident has drawn widespread attention and condolences, with many mourning the lives lost and others injured during the tragedy. Rahul Gandhi’s visit aims to show support to the families affected and understand the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate event firsthand.
The incident has sparked discussions on crowd management and safety measures at public events, prompting authorities to review and enhance protocols to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
