The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has established a deadline for completing all current construction work at the Ram temple – December 2024. Trust member Anil Mishra disclosed that while some projects within the complex may need more time and are set to finish by the end of the following year, the overall construction will wrap up by December 2024. This schedule aligns with the Yogi Adityanath government’s guidelines, which have also set deadlines for ongoing development projects in Ayodhya, excluding the temple complex. The state and central governments are jointly working on projects worth Rs 32,000 crore in the sacred temple town. Noteworthy ongoing projects include Shri Ram Kund, Karm Kshetra (ritual space), Hanuman Gadhi, Shri Ramlala Purakalik Darushan Mandal, Shri Kamm Keerti, Guru Vashishtha Peethika, Bhakti Teela, Tulsi (open theatre), Ram Darbar, Mata Kaushalya Vatsalya Mandap, Ramangan, Maharashi Valmik Archives Centre, and Mata Sita Rasoi Annakshetra (kitchen). Furthermore, twelve new temples are set for construction within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, alongside various facilities for devotees. Upon completion, the temple will stand out for its dimensions – 161 feet in height, 235 feet in width, and 360 feet in length. Anil Mishra stressed the Trust’s dedication to maintaining the construction pace, ensuring the timely realization of this important religious landmark.
