Arun Govil says Ranbir Kapoor ‘cultured’ and discusses his casting in ‘Ramayan’
Arun Govil reacted to Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayan’. According to reports, Sai Pallavi and Yash will play key roles in the film.
Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayan’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Bollywood flicks. Arun Govil, who appeared on Ramanand Sagar’s TV show ‘Ramayan’, previously discussed the impending film. He remarked about Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Ram in Tiwari’s trilogy. He described him as an ‘excellent actor’ and very erudite’.
In an interview with Bollywood Spy, the veteran actor remarked that Ranbir should be able to perform well in the role. When asked if the next film trilogy would be able to match his program, Arun responded, “Only time will tell if that will happen or not; I can’t say anything in advance about it.” However, Ranbir considers himself a good actor. He’s an award-winning actor.
He went on to say, “From what I know, Ranbir works really hard and is a very cultured youngster. He possesses good moral and cultural values. I have noticed that multiple times. I am confident that he will do his best.”
Ranbir is prepared to perform the part of a lifetime, having spent hours reading dialogues and uploading videos to Tiwari. Sources informed that the picture will be mounted on a gigantic scale, with international-level VFX and special effects.
According to reports, Ranbir Kapoor will play Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi in ‘Ramayan’. The makers are reportedly in negotiations with Vijay Sethupathi to play Vibhishan.
