However, in an interview with iDreamMedia, Bobby Simha alias Bhaarava mentioned a possible start date for Salaar 2. He informed the outlet that the shoot is expected to commence in April 2024.

Salaar 2 screenplay is ready, and producer shares the plan of action
In one of his recent interviews, Vijay Kirgandur indicated that Prabhas is eager to get Salaar 2 on the ground as soon as feasible. Since the script is complete, it won’t be long. He revealed that the manufacturers are pleased with Salaar’s outcomes, both in terms of numbers and reactions. Kirgandur agreed that there was some unfavourable criticism, but no one complained about the scale, production, or drama. He further revealed that Prabhas was in a celebratory mood following the release of Salaar and wanted to start working on the sequel right away.
Meanwhile, Prabhas has Kalki 2989 AD, which will be released in May. Prithviraj Sukumaran has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, whilst Prashanth Neel has Devara.
