The upcoming availability of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya for devotees is eagerly anticipated by Rama devotees nationwide. Much excitement surrounds the selection of the idol to be installed in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum. Three idols have been prepared for consecration, with one being chosen through verbal voting in a meeting organized by the Sri Rama Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust. Spiritualists’ opinions will also be sought on this matter. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust previously announced that the statue of Lord Ram Lalla will be installed in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum, with the idol dedication program scheduled for January 22, 2024. The statue will depict a five-year-old Lord Ram with a height of 51 inches, and devotees will be able to view it from a distance of 35 feet. Following the selection process, the most aesthetically pleasing statue has been chosen, with further public opinions being considered.
