Ahead of the upcoming wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the Ambani family hosted a heartwarming mass wedding ceremony for 50
underprivileged couples at the Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai.
This philanthropic gesture showcased the family’s commitment to supporting the community and celebrating love among those less fortunate.
The mass wedding event, held at Reliance Corporate Park, was attended by prominent members of the Ambani family including Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani, Shloka Ambani, Isha Ambani, and Anand Piramal. The ceremony saw 50 couples from the Palghar area exchanging vows, marking a significant occasion supported by the Ambanis’ generosity. Each couple was gifted with gold ornaments like mangalsutras, wedding rings, and nose rings, along with silver ornaments such as toe rings and anklets. Additionally, the Ambanis provided essential household items and groceries to sustain each couple for a year, which included 36 essential items, utensils, kitchen appliances, and bedding.Highlighting their commitment to empowering the brides, each bride received a cheque of
₹1.01 lakh as ‘streedhan’. Over 800 guests, including family members of the couples, local social workers, and community members, attended the ceremony. Following the wedding rituals, a grand dinner was organized for all attendees, complemented by a traditional Tarpa Dance performance by the Warli Tribe.
