Two hitmen, known as Vishal (alias Kala) and Ravi (alias Mota), were arrested by a team comprising Haryana Police special task force (STF) and Delhi Police special cell. This happened after a shootout in Nuh, as stated by officers involved in the operation. Both criminals were injured during the gunfight. They were involved in the murder of Sachin Munjal, also known as Sachin Goda, a scrap dealer from Gurugram. Sachin was killed in front of his mother and wife at an eatery in Rohtak on February 29.
The joint police team received information about the suspects’ location in Nuh and found them in Sonkh village by evening. Despite calls to surrender, the suspects fired at the police team, leading to a counter fire. Both assailants were injured in their legs and were arrested. The STF Gurugram has registered a case and initiated an investigation.
Initially, there were suspicions that Vishal might have been involved in the firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai on April 14. However, this angle was later ruled out. Vishal was also allegedly involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was killed in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
Both suspects are receiving medical treatment, and their statements are being recorded. Rohit Godara, a fugitive gangster currently operating from Canada, claimed responsibility for Sachin’s murder through a Facebook post on March 1, according to the officer.
