Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other political leaders, extended warm wishes to the nation on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya. Emphasizing the spirit of charity and positivity, PM Modi highlighted how the festival inspires people to bring new energy and enthusiasm into their lives. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also conveyed their heartfelt greetings for the festival.
“I hope that this auspicious occasion that inspires charity brings new energy and enthusiasm in the lives of all of you,” wrote Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a post on X. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his wishes, stating, “Heartiest greetings on the sacred festival of Akshaya Tritiya! I pray to Goddess Lakshmi for eternal energy, happiness, and progressive progress in your lives.”
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined in conveying his wishes for the well-being and prosperity of the people. “Best wishes to the people of the state on the auspicious festival of good fortune and prosperity, Akshaya Tritiya! I pray to Tribhuvan Swami Lord Shri Vishnu Ji and Mother Lakshmi Ji that everyone’s life be filled with happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health,” he wrote in a post on X.
On the auspicious occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek at the Gorakhnath temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur. Additionally, the doors of Kedarnath Dham, one of the country’s oldest and most sacred pilgrimage sites, were opened on Akshay Tritiya. The portals were opened through rituals and ceremonial chanting of hymns after a gap of six months, including the peak winter phase.
