A fire happened early Tuesday in Mumbai’s Dharavi slum area. Six people got burned. It happened at a place called Ashok Mill Compound around 3:45 am.
The fire started in a textile factory there, the police said. It burned things like wood and furniture. Firefighters quickly came with five fire engines and other vehicles to put out the fire. Police and ambulances also came.
The six injured people were taken to a nearby hospital. They are okay, the police said.
The police are still looking into what caused the fire.
There have been other fire incidents recently. Last week, a boiler blast caused a fire in Dombivli. Five people died, and many got hurt. In Delhi, a fire at a hospital killed seven babies. And in the Delhi Metro, a train part caught fire at Rajiv Chowk station.
