Kartik Aaryan, who has two major releases this year, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” and “Chandu Champion,” recently discussed his experience working with Vidya Balan and his anticipation for his upcoming projects in an interview with Pinkvilla.
Reflecting on his collaboration with Vidya Balan in the horror-comedy “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” Kartik expressed his delight: “Working with Vidya ma’am has been a fantastic experience. The set is filled with positive energy, and I’m enjoying every moment.”
Discussing the film’s progress, Kartik shared, “It’s shaping up to be a complete Diwali package. We are almost at the final stage of shooting, and I am thrilled with how it’s turning out. After wrapping up ‘Chandu Champion,’ my focus shifts entirely to ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.’ It’s a mad film and a full family entertainer. I hope it receives as much love as ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.'”
Vidya Balan, who played the iconic character Manjulika in the original 2007 hit “Bhool Bhulaiyaa,” shared her enthusiasm for the role. “It was the quickest ‘yes’ I ever gave to a film, even without reading the script,” she revealed. Having seen the original Malayalam film “Manichitrathazhu,” she eagerly accepted Priyadarshan’s offer to play Avni, a character suffering from dissociative identity disorder. The original Hindi version starred Akshay Kumar as a psychiatrist and Shiney Ahuja as Avni’s husband.
In “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” Kartik Aaryan reprises his role, joined by a stellar cast including Triptii Dimri and Madhuri Dixit. The sequel promises to deliver the same blend of horror and comedy that fans loved in its predecessors.
With both “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” and “Chandu Champion” set for release, Kartik Aaryan is poised for a blockbuster year, eagerly awaited by fans and industry insiders alike.
